Sunday School

Proverbs 22:6 "Start children off on the way they should go, and even when they are old they will not turn from it."

Here at Real Hope we believe that God has charged us with teaching our children His truth that was given to us in the Bible. Because we believe that our salvation came through Jesus Christ's death and resurrection we do not take this charge lightly.

Our teachers all need to pass a background check but more importantly, they need to have a desire to share God's Word and the love of Jesus Christ. Real Hope is blessed to have such teachers. And they strive to please Him!

Sunday School is broken into three age groups—

3 and 4 year old preschool

         Kindergarten - 2nd grade

         3rd - 5th grade

We also offer a nursery for any children under the age of 3 years old.

On the Sundays we do have class, we have a registration table set up near the kitchen counter in the Commons Area. Our teachers and coordinators will be wearing an identification tag. Register your child before church begins. Children are begin the church service with their parents and are dismissed for Sunday School right before the message.

Feel free to approach us. It would be our delight to help.

Through Sunday, November 12

Our Sunday School classes are having a food drive. This is a competition between the three classrooms: 3 & 4 year olds, pre-K through 2nd grade and 3rd through 5th grade. Children can bring in items to give to their teachers who will keep a tally of how much was brought in for the class.

Everyone can participate! Bring in needed items and drop them off at the Sunday School registration table.

All donated items will be delivered to the Lake Mills Food Pantry.

Perishable items such as produce are welcome. Those will be delivered on Mondays to the food pantry.

In addition to food, other items are needed such as cleaning supplies, hygiene products, pet food , paper towel, toilet paper, etc.

As of last Sunday, our 50-gallon food pantry barrel is 75% full! Current standings are Pre-school and 3rd-5th graders are tied with 41 items each and K-2nd grade with 47 items for a total of 129 items! The supply at the Lake Mills Food Pantry is low so our goal is to fill this barrel multiple times between now and the end of the drive on Sunday, November 12. Items can be dropped off at the Sunday School registration table or to the church office during normal business hours.
